Delete your data

Last updated July 21, 2026

Three different things can be deleted, and they work differently: data from an account you connected, your Zomler account itself, and a public profile page. This page covers all three and tells you which one you want.

Zomler holds different kinds of information under different rules, so “delete my data” has more than one answer. Pick the section that matches what you want gone. If you are not sure, email support@zomler.com and we will work it out with you rather than making you guess.

01Data from a connected Instagram or Facebook account

If you connected an Instagram professional or Facebook account to Zomler, we received data from Meta with your permission — your account identifiers, the media and insights you authorised, and an access token. There are two ways to have all of it deleted, and both work.

From Facebook. Go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites, find Zomler, and choose Remove. Tick the option to delete the data. Facebook notifies us automatically, we delete everything we received, and Facebook shows you a confirmation code.

From Zomler. Ask us through the removal request form, or email support@zomler.com from the address on your Zomler account. We verify the request before acting, which is why this is a form rather than a button.

Disconnecting inside Zomler is a different thing: it revokes our access and stops further syncing, and leaves the history already synced available to you. Use one of the routes above when you want it erased.

Either route deletes the same things: the account link, every field we received from the Meta API, and the access token. We action it as soon as the request reaches us — normally within minutes, and in every case well inside 30 days.

02Checking the status of a request

When you remove Zomler through Facebook, you are given a confirmation code. Visit https://zomler.com/data-deletion/YOUR-CODE to see whether the deletion is in progress or complete, and when it finished.

That page needs no sign-in — you have just disconnected your account, so requiring one would be absurd. For the same reason it shows only a status and never a name or email: the code alone must not reveal whose request it is.

03Your Zomler account

To close your account entirely, email support@zomler.com from your registered address with the subject “Delete my account”. We remove your profile, sign-in identity, saved lists and any connected accounts.

We keep a minimal record of credit transactions where we are required to for accounting and fraud-prevention purposes, and nothing beyond that. Those records are not linked to a usable identity once the account is gone.

04A public profile page about you

This is a different request, and it is worth being precise about why. A Zomler profile page is built from information already public on the platform. It does not come from a connection you granted, so disconnecting an account does not remove it — and nothing in an app-removal notice tells us who you are on Zomler.

Use the removal request form. We verify that you control the account before acting, because acting on an unverified request would let anyone remove anyone else's page.

05How long it takes

  • Connected-account data: immediately on receipt, typically within minutes.
  • Account closure: within 7 days of verifying the request.
  • Public profile removal: within 30 days of verifying that you control the account.

If a request is taking longer than this, tell us at support@zomler.com and we will give you a direct answer about where it is rather than a ticket number.
